From the Windows desktop, open up My Computer, and then Dial Up Networking.
Note: If you already have a CCIL Dial Up Networking icon, you should either rename or delete it at this point.
If the Make New Connection wizard does not start up automatically, then double-click on the icon.
In the Make New Connection wizard, type CCIL as the name (delete out My Connection).
Click Next.
Make sure nothing is entered in the Area Code field, and enter 6104312839 in the telephone number field.
Click Next, then click Finish.
Right-Click on the CCIL connection you just created and select Properties.
Click on the Server Types tab (will be a button under Windows 95) and make sure that only the following two items are checked:

• Enable Software Compression
• TCP/IP

Your connection is now set up. Double click on the CCIL icon and enter in your CCIL username and password and click Connect.
Note that you may put a checkmark in the Save Password field if you wish to have your password remain in this field each time you open the connection
Your computer should now begin to dial the CCIL system. After it connects it will authenticate your password (should take about 10 seconds) and you will then be able to connect to the internet using any popular browser or client.
The following clients will work across your new connection:

• Netscape
• Internet Explorer
• IRC
• Microsoft Exchange/Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express
• Eudora Light/Eudora Pro
• AOL for Windows (Select TCP/IP instead of your modem as the connection device)
• Any other application designed to work across a standard internet connection
