CCIL Builds Website for Non-Profit Organization

[April 2, 2005] Interfaith Housing Assistance of Chester County never had room in their budget for a website. They strive to have 95% of their donations go toward their purpose which is the prevention and/or the end of homelessness among single parents with dependent children in Chester County. In March, a team of CCIL volunteers teamed up with the director to create a presence for them on the web. This included registering a domain name including hosting it, establishing e-mail addresses, and building the web page. To read more about the good work of Interfaith Housing Assistance of CC, go to their website at: www.InterFaithHousingCC.org

BLOGS come to CCIL

[March 4, 2005] In a move to renew the "community" spirit from the early days of CCIL, the web development staff have started a blog. Everyone is invited to come, take a look and post your comments on how CCIL helps you and what we could do to make it even better. In addition to the blog there is a mailing list where CCIL subscribers interested in creating their own blog can begin to learn how to do so.

Additionally, members are invited to request to register. Send requests to the blog mailing list (see link above), and an invitation will be sent to you via email. Members are able to post their own topics to the blog in order that others can then discuss whatever that topic might be.
