Community Building and Development

ChesterCountyConnect.Net Project - This portal was built as a joint venture of CCIL and several municipalites, organizations, and the West Chester Area School District. The full ownership and control of the project was transferred to CCIL in 2004. This website was built with two primary objectives.
- To be a resource for finding organizations and information limited to just Chester County; since search engine results usually produce an overwhelming volumn of "world wide" information.
- Integrated Community Calendar to provide a single entry shared calendar in which events could be pushed to more than one calendar without duplicate entry.
Website Hosting - CCIL hosts a variety of websites and a community portal. Here is a sampling of sites hosted by CCIL:
E-Mail Distribution Lists help facilitate communication within a group. E-mail addresses are subscribed to a moderated list. Posters can send e-mails to the list based on a set of restrictions set by the moderator. These distribution lists are currently being used by the West Chester Rotary Club, Marshall Manor Neighborhood Association, and several other special interest groups. Some lists are private; however for a list of public lists go to MAILING LISTS.
